William married ? CHIDDINGSTONE, daughter of Peter de CHIDDINGSTONE. Born ? 1240.

2. Sir Bartholomew BURGHERSH. Born ? 1280. Bartholomew died ? 1350; he was 70.
"He was one of the number of the 26 Knights of the Right Honorable Order of the Garter at the first institution thereof in the eighteenth year of King Edward the Third (1345). He was a mighty strong man. His heir was married to Edward, Lord Spencer and Earl of Gloucester."
3. Elinor BURGHERSH. Born ? 1260. Elinor died ? 1320; she was 60.
Elinor married William DELAWARE, son of William DELAWARE & Isabell APULDERFELD. Born ? 1260. William died ? 1320; he was 60.

4. Thomas DELAWARE. Born ? 1280. Thomas died ? 1340; he was 60.
He outlived his brother Robert and died without issue, leaving Robert’s two daughters to be his heirs. He sold land at Isfelde, Lewis and Hodley in Sussex as appears in evidence in the reign of Edward the Third.
5. Robert DELAWARE. Born ? 1280. Robert died ? 1340; he was 60.
Robert married Alice LYNKHULL. Born ? 1280. Alice died ? 1340; she was 60.
They had the following children:
